It seems that Ukraine is trying to facilitate the export of its poultry products to Central Asian markets.
In recent weeks, health and veterinary officials in the country and Turkmenistan have held serious talks on expanding cooperation.
However, assessments indicate that in recent years, Central Asian countries have become particularly important for exporters of various Ukrainian products.
On the other hand, in recent months, the idea of creating a new Silk Road belt between countries such as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, and Poland has led experts to be optimistic about improving Ukraine’s trade relations with these countries and China.
Published statistics show that in 2018, Ukraine exported more than 328,000 tons of poultry products. The country’s exports in 2011 were only 49,000 tons.
