Estimates show that the trend of Brazilian chicken meat exports has decreased by 2020.
Experts believe that the country’s chicken meat exports compared to last year was increased by a maximum of a half percent. However, this trend has been recorded by more than three percent during 2019.
The reduction seems to have occurred for reasons such as reduced chicken meat consumption following the outbreak of COVID-19 and logistical problems.
Evaluations conducted by Brazilian experts show that although during the first 11 months of this year, most of the major importers of this product have reduced their purchases, increased purchases by countries such as China, South Korea, Singapore, and the Netherlands has offset this decline.
Currently, China, Saudi Arabia, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Hong Kong, and South Korea are among the largest importers of Brazilian chicken meat.
