It seems that the scope of bans on the import of Turkish products to Saudi Arabia has also reached poultry products.
The Turkish Exporters’ Union has officially announced that the Turkish Ministry of Commerce has announced a ban on poultry imports to Saudi Arabia from the beginning of this month.
Earlier, the business adviser of the Turkish embassy in Riyadh had announced the decision of the kingdom.
Some news sources have acknowledged that the Saudi decision has been informed by the Turkish Ministry of Commerce to all companies and unions exporting these products.
It should be noted that the two countries have been at loggerheads over the past few years over various regional issues, such as the assassination of Jamal Khashgechi in 2018 at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
Estimates suggest that Turkey exported more than $ 3.1 billion worth of products to Saudi Arabia in 2019.
