The Czech Ministry of Agriculture has warned of the possibility of an outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza in the country.
Experts believe that the country’s border with Germany and Poland increases the risk of the disease occurring in the Czech Republic. Veterinarians and experts in the country seem to be trying to prepare for the various scenarios that may follow the outbreak of the disease in the Czech Republic.
Meanwhile, the country’s Minister of Agriculture has issued a special order to convene a meeting of the Central Health Commission.
Some sources have also reported an online meeting of the agriculture ministers of Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic.
It should be noted that after nearly three years, in January of this year, the country announced the outbreak and spread of the disease in its backyard poultry population.
