Consumption of eggs and chicken meat has declined in the United States

The rate of hatching for poultry production by US breeders appears to have fallen by 1% over the same period last year.

According to the USDA, the country’s Hatchery factories have placed 232 million eggs in incubators over the past week. Estimates show that 82.6% of eggs delivered to factories have hatching capabilities.

Reports indicate that farmers of broilers in this country in the week ending July 25, 186 million one-day-old chickens entered to their farms, which shows a decrease of 1% compared to the same period last year

The USDA also announced that 11 percent fewer eggs were broken in the United States in June than at the same time last year. However, this consumption of eggs has increased by 22% compared to the previous month.
